This film was made right before I graduated from the University at Buffalo. I was trying to blend my interest in jazz with my interest in dance film.

This is the performance from my thesis concert in April of 2023. It explores the fundamentals of what makes jazz dance truly jazz through conversation with pieces from jazz musicians local to the Buffalo and Western New York area.

This is a work-in-progress showing of my thesis, which will be presented in full in the spring of 2023. It explores the fundamentals of what makes jazz dance truly jazz through conversation with pieces from jazz musicians local to the Buffalo and Western New York area. Two musical pieces are featured here, but the final project will have at least four. My advisor on the project is Chanon Judson, the artistic director of Urban Bush Women.
Round About
This is a jazz and tap piece made for the Zodiaque Company in the fall of 2022. I was interested in embracing and celebrating the improvisational and communal root of these forms.

This a contemporary jazz film I choreographed, filmed, and edited. It was featured at the AAlchemy Film Festival.
Just an Old Sweet Song
This tap piece was created for the ChoreoLab Concert in the spring of 2022. This is the first tap piece I ever put onstage, and it focuses on blending set choreography and improvisation in a natural and engaging way.

This is a musical theatre jazz piece made for the Zodiaque Company in the fall of 2021. It showcases my experience in narrative work through jazz.
as we come to it
I was the primary editor and choreographer of this work. It was filmed and danced by myself in collaboration with Meg Kirchhoff. It is mainly an atmospheric-focused piece building on feelings of childish nostalgia for an exploration of a world not yet explored.
